I founded Lulu’s Holistics in 2018 following a pivotal moment during a major hurricane in Florida. While temporarily staying with my mom—an herbalist with deep experience in natural skincare and beauty retail—we found ourselves talking late into the night about the products on the market and the questionable ingredients hidden inside them.
Those conversations, paired with a shared desire for more intentional living, sparked a dream to create something pure, honest, and entirely our own.
Right there in my mom's kitchen, we began formulating body care using nothing but raw plant oils and rich shea butter. I shared our raw, behind-the-scenes process online, focusing heavily on educating my audience about why ingredient transparency matters. The response was immediate and overwhelming: hundreds of orders flooded in on our very first day.
